How close to forensic science trueness is the TV series, CSI & SVU?

I love these TV series, and have other wondered just how believable it is. I'm pretty sure they do their research, & I'd assume that what you see in a one hour show would probably take weeks to achieve within "real life".
But surrounded by regards to the forensics process, is it authentic? Do these equipments exist? How close to forensic science trueness is the TV series, CSI & SVU?
They are accurate to a certain level in that the methods they use are accurte merely the time scales are speeded up so where it appears that they can scan surrounded by piece of evidence and get an on the spot answer, they can't in indisputable life.
Seemingly criminals use what they see on CSI to serve them get away near crimes? They call it the CSI effect, so I am told?
If you catch the boxed sets of the CSI series they have extras which explain near the real CSI's they use as 'constultants' and that give you a lot more info. I have all the boxed sets and found them attention-grabbing. You can get them on Amazon and the 2nd appendage ones are that expensive.
Yeah, they exist but as you realize, any of those tests would hold weeks to get a result,
The equipment does exist, but no single laboratory would be capable of afford to have it adjectives, even if they had the space. To do adjectives those tests, they would own to send sample to labs all over the country, and skulk weeks, even months for some of the results.
