How are sulfurous gas formed contained by the intestines?
Flatulence is typically caused by the fermentation of dietary fibers (which are polysaccharides) surrounded by the colon with the formation of short-chain fatty acids and gas (carbon dioxide, methane, hydrogen). Then why does flatulence (e.g. from beans) sometimes result in the formation of massive amounts of odorous sulfurous gas (like hydrogen sulfide, organic thiols) when the source of the flatulence are the undigested polysaccharides which do not contain any sulfur? How are sulfurous gas formed contained by the intestines?
The microbes in the intestines produce the sulfur by working on the undigested stuff.
They aren't pure polysaccharides. There are also proteins, and that includes sulfur-containing amino acids that the microbes digest.

Lasers are used contained by eye surgery (lasik, etc.), vascular surgery, and many other places contained by medicine. Laser down removal is another method of use, but physicians aren't always required.
They cauterize the wound, (stop the bleeding), as rhey cut.
Very restructured.
They also use ruby lasers to remove tattoos/plastic surgery.
Many times a laser is use to remove a gallbladder, a laser does the same as electracautery (meaning burning the vessel to stop bleeding. Lasers are also used in eye surgey to cut down on bleeding. The strange types of lasers are used for aesthestics.to remove hair folicles, birthmarks, blemishes.

Hollywood is putting PIGEONS on the pill?
This is the stupidest thing I hold ever heard. Hollywood is somehow going to be putting pigeons on birth control pills to cut back reproduction. Am I the only party who thinks this is not with the sole purpose wrong but completely stupid?Hollywood is putting PIGEONS on the pill?
Yup. I think it's dumb, seeing as how they're also going to cut the population of any predator birds that nurture on pigeons.
They should just arrest the stupid "pigeon lady" who keep on feeding them.
I don't reason its wrong, but I think its stupid.I expect they should just nuder pigeons close to they do cats.
I don't think it is wrong, however it is a complete gamble away of money, I think that it is best to sterilize them. because the effects of the pill are temporary and how will they keep hold of track of which pigeons are on it, and which are not. All in adjectives it is by far the silliest thing I enjoy ever heard.

Based on what criteria?
Any medical school within the US will be good. You grasp out of an education what you put into it. A indolent person at the "best" medical conservatory will not be as educated as a motivated character at a less celebrated school.
As far as I am concerned it is the University Of Wisconsin contained by Madison Wisconsin. I am a cancer patient within and they are doing great for me.
I think it's adjectives a matter of inference. Graduating from medical school at any crucial university in the integrated states would give you the credentials to do only just about anything you considered necessary. Heparin Injection Site?
Why is it recomended that heparin be injected SC into the abdomen instead of the tons other common adipose tissue sites habitually used for insulin such as the arm? (Why is the abdomen the desired site?)Heparin Injection Site?
I chew over it is because that is where on earth most people hold the most abdundant amount of adipose tissue so you are less promising to accidentally inject it into muscle.
there more obese there and it bruises smaller amount
Because with nearby is more fat, and believe it or not, it hurts the lowest.
The area is not shipment bearing close to buttocks, or moved frequently like the arm. This reduce bruising.
I've actually done research on this for a course I took once. There are different things to look at.
Pain, bruising, digestion.
The main pretext for injecting into the abdomen however have been the belief that the adipose tissue surrounded by this area is best for the apsorption of heparin. bruising and misery can be quite adjectives in any site depending on the techinque used.
Also, it is recommended that insulin get injected into the abdomen as in good health.
Coz there is more rotund (usually) around the abdo, it hurts less and bruises smaller number.

It is truthfully difficult to overdose to the point of death on benzodiazepines (i.e. Xanax (alprazolam), Valium (diazepam), Klonopin (clonazepam), but within are documented cases of fatal overdoses on these drugs when taken surrounded by sufficient quantities. If he have taken ANY other drugs that can also depress the central a bundle of nerves system (i.e. alcohol, painkillers, etc.) I would recommend calling 911 or your local poison control center immediately. Benzodiazepines mixed next to other central apprehensive system depressants can kill you because they can stop your breathing and put you into a coma. Help me to fathom out the intent of that problem-statement?

i dont understand the implication of the problem statement
"Each university is represented by three of its best colleges".
what it means within this context ?
does it mean universirt1 have 3 colleges . university2 and others also have 3 collges .after there should own 3x5 = 15 colleges !!
I think i am intellectual capacity it wrongly.
someone please help me to apprehend the meaning of that problem-statementHelp me to fathom out the intent of that problem-statement?
Yes, you are right, here were 15 colleges competing (5 Universities, respectively of which had 3 colleges competing). But, in that were singular 18 medals (Gold, Silver or Bronze) won by the colleges. The second table merely shows the medals won by the colleges and omit the colleges that didn't receive a medal. So, 9 colleges won the 18 medal. Does this help?
The uncomplicated thing you stipulation to understand is that every university have different colleges (college of medicine, college of nursing, college of dentistry, etc. for examples). An institution which is not however ugraded as a University is called a College which have different departments. So in short the colleges (comprising the university) are equivalent to the departments comprising the College.
In your problem statement, nearby are 5 universities participating, representatives from respectively university are from three of its colleges. The table shows the number of medals won by different colleges (those who did not win any decoration are not listed on the table). The other table shows the total medal won by every university-that would be by making total tally marks of any medal won by any of their three colleges.

Dear Jim:
1. 89.8 kg X 2 X 10= 1,796ml.
2. Cat=8.16 kg.
2 mg X 8.16= 16.32 mg/10 ml= 1.632 ml. for the cat.
3.1 g.= 1000 mg. Then if you enjoy 1g per 15 ml.
the patient requests 15 ml.
4.one tablet= 5 mg.
7.5 mg. X56.69 kg. then for one kg.=0.132 mg. X kg.
5. 2000 ml. = 100% ,after if you need 1%= 20 g. of drug.
This is uncomplicated math dude.
Try using ratios
mg drug/volume= x mg drug/vol
Change regular avoir dupois weights to metric back calculating, set up ratios and afterwards convert. Make sure all your metric values are adjectives; mg to mg not g to mg.
BTW, 1% solution is 1 gram per 100 mL so do a ratio to convert.
If I do the math for you, you won't learn, and you might shoot someone by giving a wrong dose.
Hey, I go an "A" within dosage calc and so can you. This is so straight forward you will kik yourself.

gratitudeHelp around medecine!!?
Yes it is safe to steal any painkillers. The local anaesthetic which was given to you is a completely different class of drug and will not interact near any of the drugs that you would take.
Paracetamol, non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen) or mild opiates approaching codeine phosphate are all out of danger to take alone or surrounded by combination.
Over-the-counter NSAIDs probably OK, but ask a pharmacist.
Ask the doctor that proscribed the painkillers or if you cannot contact him, ask the pharmacist that filled it.
Yes it is fine to help yourself to painkillers such as Paracetamol, but read the box because it could state otherwise. If you need any more assist, just ask at a chemist/pharmacy or drop by your doctor.
Nothing with aspirin, but Tylenol should be ok.
yes it's undisruptive to take narcotic twinge medicines right after surgery. patients do it adjectives the time to treat post-operative pain for minor as ably as major surgeries.

Hello I hold a few more question?
I realize now through the answers the room have given me what an MRI is, but what is the purpose of an EEG of the brain?Hello I hold a few more question?
EEG looks for unusual electrical activity surrounded by the brain. Many conditions of the brain produce consistent unusual readings within various parts of the brain, so the EEG is a strong tool for diagnosing brain injuries and other intellectual conditions.
Best,
Ed, RN
An MRI will give a medical squad information about the physical condition of the brain and the surrounding nouns but the EEG is a test that tell who it is functioning. An EEG would look like toothed lines on a strip of paper.
An EEG of the brain picks up brain wrinkle signals from specific points in the brain to share how it is functioning under specific conditions. It can, for instance, determine if someone is have epileptic seizures (at one point during the assessment they set off a strobe light). It can oblige assess stroke damage and other things resembling that.
It shows the amounts of different brain waves given rotten by the brain at rest, and makes a chart of them.

There is no any indication that within would be harm imposed if EEG is done after MRI. Infact, near has be a combined use of both in some diagnostic procedures.
two totally different things, if specifically the way your doctor set it up consequently it is perfectly mundane..many times they set multiple oral exam up for the same time. This way the results adjectives come in at like time and the doctor can read them all at once.If you own to fast, next you only own to do it once. This is more convenient for you and also for the hospital and doctor..
Perfect safe average combinations of exams. MRI and EEG don't do anything to you that would cause you a problem. The one and only side effect you may have is human being tired from running around the hospital, but at least it will be done next to and your Doctor can hopefully find some answers to your problem.

Heaven forbid that you should miscarry, although desolately miscarriage can come about within up to 25% of adjectives pregnancies.?
Which of the following is a warning sign of a possible miscarriage?
oil lamp spotting
all of these
persistant bleeding
crampingHeaven forbid that you should miscarry, although desolately miscarriage can come about within up to 25% of adjectives pregnancies.?
Any one of these can be a symptom of miscarriage, and any one of them can be majority symptoms for some women. Your cervix is sensitive when you get pregnant, so you can weakly spot after sex or having a pap smear. Cramping is ordinary off and on throughout pregnancy, especially precipitate pregnancy when the uterus, muscles, and ligaments are stretching. Persistent bleeding is probably the most cause for concern, but some women do hold bleeding in their pregnancies and don't miscarry.
Nothing should be taken for granted though...any mom-to-be who's sensation any of these symptoms should consult with her OBGYN.
Good luck.
Any of those. Light spotting can be typical, but persistent bleeding and cramping are not.
Any pregnant mom next to anything unusual should call her obstetrician minus delay. Better not detrimental than sorry.
Heart rhythm problems lower than anesthetic?
What would happen if a forgiving suffering from heart problems complains of having a heart problem, but population think it is anxiety disorder, they relay the doctor before they turn under anesthetic; and when they are below they develop a very serious arrhythmias?
How long would it be in the past they treated the heart problem, and what would the doctors response be in the OR?
CREEDHeart rhythm problems lower than anesthetic?
Depends on the arrhythmia and the associated signs and symptoms.
We monitor everyone's heart rhythm beneath anesthesia, and we are prepared to treat any arrhythmia.
When I put people to sleep, I own a cart full of medication, and a crash cart close at hand.
It's not uncommon to see arrhythmias, and we treat them without hesitation. The response, of course, depends on the temperament of the arrhythmia.
If it's a few PVC's, we watch them. If it's bradycardia, we contribute atropine. If it's SVT, we might push adenosine. We can even use temporary pacemaker in the OR if we hold to.
"Very serious" arrhythmias might necessitate other drugs or cardioversion or defibrillation.
After surgery, they'll see a cardiologist for further workup.
Heart rate increase quickly following heart transplant?

Because the implanted heart is not man innervated by the vagus nerve. This rudeness sends signals to slow the heart down. So without vagal input, your basal heart rate will tend to be faster.

Headaches - what sour the counter medication is best for headache?
the first thing you call for to determine is why you have the headache. if it is because you enjoy nasal congestion then it is most predictable sinus pressure so i would suggest tylenol cold to help beside both. if you are having fluffy sensitivity, nausea and severe pain surrounded by the eye area afterwards it is likely a migraine so excedrin will assistance. if you are having a headache beside neck pressure after it is a tension headache so lately tylenol or motrin will work for the muscles.
The ones that have purely a tad bit of caffeine to constrict the dilated blood vessels, such as Excedrin.
Aspirin or paracetamol (acetaminophen). Or Tiger balm, Zandu balm, Amrutanjan etc., adjectives balms expected for pain nouns.
excedrin is amazing! its gone in resembling 5-10 minutes.. thats all i lift anymore cuz i get headache all the time...

I really similar to excedrin migraine--works really well!
Headache is not a disease but a symptom of something to be precise wrong in your system. So here are too many reason for a headache. The cause wishes to treated not the headache itself.
Therefore, best advise is to know what cause your headache and if possible avoid them otherwise transport a medical advise and attention.
Taking ache-pills would contained by the long run leads to other complications such as jittery disorders, muscular spasms and many more side-effects.
Still you can run for common headache pills once within a while, if it is too much unbearable.

It's a little bit too much to turn into all of it here... so, if you want to know more why I'm on this, my 360 site is contained by my profile... if you want.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, LH :o)Have you taken Restoril / Temazepam.??
Temazepam have a half-life of 120 hours. That means it take 120 hours for half of the amount of temazepam surrounded by your body to disappear. That's a long half-life. If you're taking it regularly, I imagine it could build up surrounded by your body. Perhaps you should look at switching. Talk to your doctor.
You really need to discuss to your doctor and tell him nearly the side effects.
Yes i have taken Temazepam, and it feel like a suspend over, you can get use to the side effects, but if you'd similar to something over the counter, Tylenol P.M. is your best choice, i would stay away from thinking on going and trying Ambien, i have taken that also and my husband did and it cause some serious falls for my husband, he was sleep walking and have a feeling down a long steep flight of steps and i had to keep hold of taking him to all kind of doctor's, because he was have seizers in the brain. I grew a moustache once and it didn't work out. Four different colors on my face and I didn't know how to trim it. I have red, brown, white and gray looking like some insane dirty walrus. I guess it did look close to a bacteria fruit farm but i'm too vain to admit it.
ever looked at a doctor's tie and wondered when be the last time he have it cleaned?
Why would ther be any more bacteria within my moustache than your hair?
uhhh...okkk.
In food processing plants, men are required to wear a pelt net over beard and mustaches.
In surgery facial hair is covered.
In computer processing, facial spine is covered.
Men wash their mustache along beside their face and spine, daily.
Absolutely. Facial down is totally disgusting and is, obviously, one of nature's mistakes. I firmly believe the more facial spine a man has, the more he is trying to cover up. Ever notice a great deal of men with mustaches hold mouth like womens where on earth their top teeth constantly show giving them a feminine appearance they are trying to hide. Or men beside beards when examined closely don't appear to have a chin and adjectives that filthy hair is a virtuous cover up. If I was a woman, I wouldn't even consider dating or marry a man unless he got rid of the facial crap. God just knows how antediluvian the snot and slobber is that's trapped in that mess.
Probably, my mustache have less germs than the hair on your go before and "other places".
I and many others who own mustache wash their facade and mustache several times a day, while other parts of the body get less cleaning.
How several times you shook hands near people who merely sneezed or went to bathroom and never wash their hands.

Back to my teens age, I only just cry and always trying to m¨ol¨|e not to cry. However when I could not help, I cry greatly to the extent of having numbness within my whole body and sometimes would hold stiffness. The dilemma was the aftermath- bodyache after aday or so.

I don't have diabetes or anything that accounts for the thirst: I drink plenty of dampen but occasionally get "overcome" beside thirst. Every way you can describe insomnia I experience and "sleep hygiene" tricks hold not helped much. Melatonin give me a headache. I am NOT looking for a diagnosis, I am just curious if in that are any connections.Have suffered insomnia & great thirst since 14, could low vasopressin be why?

If you feel nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, those are some of the side effects of nitrofurantoin. Take the pills with food and chew gum or drink yogurt to minimize those effects. Drink plenty of water, unless your doctor told you not to. If you enjoy any other side effects, talk to your doctor.
No You must report your MD about this side effect. You should not be getting sick on a med i.e. supposed to make you better. Not everyone can lift the same things. that's why in attendance is such a varitety of medications on the open market.
Urinary tract infections take time to disappear. People near UTI feel sick. Take lots of fluids.
Have anyone hear of "doctor's formula"?

I'm guessing you've see some television want ad. As a general rule of thumb, within have be a plethora of patent medicine with that sort of sticky label, and the one thing you can count on is that it's time to hold onto your wallet and run.
There is nought like a "doctor's formula".
Have any of you tried the investigational quit smoking drug?
My doc offered me a drug that you only give somebody a lift for a short time, and it in fact makes cigs revolting to you. I know it is enormously expensive, but have any of you tired it and does it work. It would sure accumulate me lots of money monthly, not to mention my health. Also what is the label of it?Have any of you tried the investigational quit smoking drug?
Yes, I used it after 15 years of smoking I have be smoke free for 3-1/2 months. The cravings are gone. It is worth every penny and more!
Chantix is the name
Chantix , I used it and it worked for me, 9 weeks free and clear of cigarettes in a minute after 31 years of smoking. ...
no i've never heard or tried it beforehand but another inexpensive way of quitting smoking is chewing gum and nicotine patch
Have any of you have problems near the drug Fluoxetine (Prozac)?
I've been diagnosed beside Depression and anxiety today and my Dr prescribed this. I hate prescription and I'm nervous nearly taking it, but I need it, I guess.. what is your experience near it?Have any of you have problems near the drug Fluoxetine (Prozac)?
Prozac is hardcore. Try Lexapro 10mg/day with Klonopin, 0.5mg twice/day. You may enjoy to go up to 2 or 3 times these doses.
I agree that Prozac is hardcore. I enjoy read some of your other questions, and given what you are going through beside your husband, you should be depressed.
Prozac is normally used for populace who have long-term mental complaint and more serious depression.
I agree that Klonopin/Xanax/etc, and Lexapro would be much, much better.
Ask you doctor about Zoloft or Lexapro, those treat Anxiety and Depression, and are newer drugs next to less side-effects.
Prozac is prearranged to have a horrific reaction when it is misused or misprescribed, and can sort you suicidal.
Have a cross-examine??
my doctor said i have protein within my urine what does that mean? my doctor also said i may own sickle cell ....they did some blood work and i havent got the blood work fund yet. they give me some iron pills. what do i do? what does this mean? what is sickle cellHave a cross-examine??
Protein within the urine can mean a great deal of different things, from kidney problems to a contaminated specimen. The blood work may provide some more clues as to whether or not it's significant.
Sickle cell disease is a genetic (inherited) condition where you engineer abnormal hemoglobin, which is the molecule within red blood cells that carry oxygen. People with sickle cell disease own red blood cells that can become misshapen and clog up small blood vessel, leading to symptoms pf backache, and other problems.
This site will explain it to you:
http://www.sicklecelldisease.org/about_s...
There are also other conditions like sickle cell, but not as serious. Your blood work will confer your doctor more answers.
When you go spinal column for your followup appointment ASK QUESTIONS! You need to know what is going on next to your body, and how to deal next to whatever it is.
Good luck!
the holes that allow filtrate to move from the blood stream into the urine aren't supposed to be big ample to allow large particle such as protiens to filter out of the blood and into the urine. so, it is possible that you might have some sort of kidney problem or degenerative ailment.

I think more from 1900 - 1980. Mainly because of adjectives the wars. A lot of tentative things happened during the war, like how to treat boss trama, among other things.
It is difficult to say beside this which period medical science progressed more. I am solely glad of the men and women who made these discoveries and carried out the research, i am not in the medical profession freshly an interested patient . the technology treatments drugs and advance we have immediately were built on from the erudition gathered over the years .
Has anyone used Lodine as an anti inflamitory prescription for tndernitis?
It makes me tired and bouncy at the same time.Has anyone used Lodine as an anti inflamitory prescription for tndernitis?
Lodine is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. I own found it effective.
A "jumpy" sensitivity is not usual. It may be a coincidence. Stop it for 2 days, try it again, and see if there is a clear cut nouns.
I have have good experiences prescribing it.
Has anyone tried Kevin Trudeau's "cures"?
Did anything actually work?Has anyone tried Kevin Trudeau's "cures"?
Kevin Trudeau's books are mostly information almost where to grasp the cures somewhere else. He uses one book to sell another or speak about you where to take herbs from other of his companies.
You will not capture what you were promised from this guy, I enjoy tried. It's a big scam!
He is a very shady part and even did a stint in secure unit (or prison, depending how long his sentence was) for check forgery and stealing his previous customers' credit card numbers. I wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him :) His book supposedly has some fully clad recommendations that can be found surrounded by other 'alternative' books, however, things like a alluring mattress to help those near MS (multiple sclerosis) and colon cleanses are just hokey. Eating properly and getting satisfactory physical activity is a positive within his book(s). He talks nearly organic food use pesticides. Most of his books are rant about how the establishment is bilking people out of money which can be true, to a solid extent. He just go overboard with the blaming though.
Please remember to check beside one's physician first before using any of the suggestions especially if wanting to try herb or stopping one's medication. And I've read on here and on amazon.com that if one orders the book from his company direct, that the customer tend to keep getting charged the $9.95 a month extra for his newsletter, and it's supposed to be pretty difficult to get the charges to stop. Just fyi.
Has anyone tried hypnotism to loose consignment?? And did it work?
I have be struggling with my solidity for years now. I hold been as indigestible as 220 lbs. and gotten down to 155 lbs, but keep achievement and losing. Right now I'm at 185 lbs. which is WAY to immense for my 5' 6" frame. I've tried every diet imaginable, and some that are literally UNIMAGINABLE. I only just read an article in a magazine roughly speaking hypnotism, and that it is very successful for empire trying to quite smoking, and also for general public who are trying to lose weight. I'd similar to to know if anyone has tried it, and if it really does work. Thanks.Has anyone tried hypnotism to loose consignment?? And did it work?
Hypnotism is not a trickery formula to lose weight. Yes, I tried it. I didn't lose anything, but I give up salt for years afterward. Smokers own different issues than overweight people. Hypnotism is individual a tool, and there are tons tools out there. I know you own your heart set on it, so go ahead and try it. It won't hurt you. It won't work (neither do "diets"), but it won't hurt. My heart go out to you. I've been here. Good luck.

Chantix works great within helping folks quit smoking. For more Chantix information, click the following link: http://www.121doc.com/champix.html?a_aid...

Has anyone taken Wellbutrin or Effexor back, did one work better than the other?
Has anyone taken Wellbutrin or Effexor back, did one work better than the other?
Funny you should ask. I've taken both in the later 6 mos. I started on Effexor. It worked well, but I have trouble with freight gain--a common side effect. I spoke near my doctor, who switched me to Wellbutrin. (It's supposed to be "weight-nuetral".) It was working merely fine. I then found out that within is a seizure risk from drinking any alcohol while taking Wellbutrin. I next put it together that my out of proportion sick mornings after a drink (even just one!) have started when I started taking Wellbutrin. I am back on the Effexor. Again, it is working particularly well--I just enjoy to be very aware of the tendancy to put on consignment and try to stave it off.
Wellbutrin works awfully well. I used it when I be under great stress next to a previous company I used to work at and with counseling sessions, it help me to controll my emotions. I'm cheery to say that I am Wellbutrin free.
Effexor didnt really work for me. Wellbutrin initially worked but it cause me to feel anxious and i started have problems with sleep.

If you hold done well contained by medical school, CS will be fine.

Has anyone particular or be on paxil and consequently switched to lexapro and what effect did it enjoy?
Had a great effect, because Paxil didn't work for me, and Lexapro did.
I guess I really don't know what you are asking, but I kind of know what you want to hear. What I'm going to report to you is you have to find the drug that make you feel worthy, and not listen to what makes me grain good. I own tried just something like every SSRI out there and merely a couple of them worked for me and only one of them didn't contribute me any side effects was Lexapro - it may be totally different for you, and totally different for answerer # 1 # 2 and # x.
Give the others a try until you find the one that give you the best benefits with the most minuscule side effects. I know (for a fact) it is not easy - you hold to wean off one med - later build up onto another and wait a month to even see if in that are side effects, but, hey you may be taking this stuff for the rest of you life - acquire it right NOW - so you don't have to muck around near it later - it will lone take you a few - 6 months.
The rest of your life span is worth it - isn't it?
Yup, I didn't like the lexapro, didn't perceive like it be doing anything. Was still feeling depressed on it. Can you stay on paxil?
I didn't thieve Paxil and since it looks like it's horrible for you to steal it I am glad I didn't but I have taken Lexapro and I didn't appear to mind it. It made me more alert and I guess that's the opposite effect it's supposed to own but it controlled alot of the emotional anxiety I be having over a different diagnosis so it be very beneficial for me contained by the short term use category
my hubby have just started taking lexapro, and it zonked
him out and made him sluggish.
Paxil is a appropriate med, but don't take it if u plan to become pregnet.

Sorry for so many question, but this test is foreign to me.Has anyone have a fine hypodermic biopsy????
In 2000, I discovered a mass the size of a lemon in my right breast and have to have a hypodermic biopsy. It took some time--I don't remember exactly how long, maybe 15 or 20 minutes, but I'm not sure. They will hand over you a shot or two to deaden the nouns. It took a week for the results to come back, and it be negative for cancer--thank God! It turned out to be a cyst, and I have to go into the hospital and own it drained. During the surgery, another biopsy was done to engineer sure the cyst wasn't masking cancer, and that results also come back cynical.

Has anyone gain counterweight on Toprol XL (50 mg)?

Toprol, I think, is a beta-blocker. I am on propanolol (which is a beta-blocker). At first, a side effect is hunch tired and lethargic. As the weeks turn on, you adapt.
Try to step on regular walks, even if you're sleepy. That will minister to to keep the bulk under control.
no. but i be overweight to start with. it does breed me sleepy sometimes...make sure you help yourself to it with a lunchtime.

does it contain sulfer i have three no"S and one yes but I've be told both answers so don't know what to believe...Has anyone ever taken metformin for type 2 diabetes? How be it...?
Metformin does not contain sulfur. It is used in overweight diabetics. It facilitate the entry of endogenous insulin into cells. Metformin does not stimulate pancreas to produce more insulin. Strenuous exercise eliminate the need for Metformin.
copious of the type 2 DM contain sulfa...they are called sulfureas...but i will agree next to SAMI,,,metformin doesn't.

I pulled a muscle at the gym something like a month ago and last week my Doctor put me on like med, but I only embezzle 1/2 twice a day so I can function.
they do not do nought i have to rob them becaue of my back and they do not work
Yeah, I capture a scrip for them a couple times a year when my back seize up. It is the generic of Flexeril. It works well, but can really gross you tired. Mixing with alcohol will really knock you out. Do not drive on it. I would avoid it during the time.
take them at darkness, they help you sleep. If you pinch it during the day you may consistency sleepy or have a "fuzzy" brain. If you enjoy to take one surrounded by the morning, take the first one on the weekend so you can see how you counter. I take one every dark to help next to jaw backache and it really helps.
I have back spasms working as a CNA. They didn't do anything for me, but they work comparatively well for others. They are safe and sound, so just try them and if you experience side effects that are intolerable for you, consequently go pay for to the doctor to get the prescription changed. I tried Norflex (orphenedrine) and it worked great.

Has anyone else experienced post gallbladder surgery problems?
I have be in serious dull pain and in and out of the hospital for 2 years in a minute with no answers.Has anyone else experienced post gallbladder surgery problems?
MY daughter-in-law have button hole surgery. She developed severe abdominal pain and on reopening a percolate in the sutures be found.
My mom has to look out what she eats, because ever since she have hers removed, certain spices or foods will end in abdominal pains and she will have to run to the bathroom right after the buffet. And she often doesn't engineer it. My mom is only 48 so it isn't weak age. It only started after the surgery 2-3 years ago. I hope you get the impression better.
If you have be diagnosed with nerve stones, your only cure is surgery. If you continue until one of the stones erodes the gall bladder, and you own an infection of the peritoneum, you be in reflective sh(i)t hon. Then you have a full blown infection, difficult to treat and own scaring. one really desperate mess. If your sonogram revealed gall stones, the sooner you enjoy the gall bladder removed, the easier it is.
I fought next to the increasing pain for several years, and have about every other testing done before a sonogram... There those little turkeys be. I had it removed laproscopically... piece of cake. (When my dad have that surgery in the 50's it be major stuff, beside a major defect and a major salvage time.) No problems, eat anything, walk out of the hospital the next afternoon. So, IF you hold been diagnosed near gall stones THEN hold the surgery done by a top notch soft tissue surgeon. If you live surrounded by the Pomona, Ca. area, write me and I'll recommend one.

Has any cure nonetheless be found for genetic diseases such as haemophilia, thallasemia etc.?
Has any cure nonetheless be found for genetic diseases such as haemophilia, thallasemia etc.?
There are some approaches to cure, such as, gene therapy. But mostly, all we can do presently is supportive treatment, such as, blood transfusion coupled with iron chelates. Another opening is to prevent by screening for suspected gene before nuptials.
no
Although genetic diseases remain a major raison d`¨otre of disorders all over the world, in attendance is still not cure for it. There are treatments available for them to make the diseased person's enthusiasm better but no perfect cure. It should be adjectives why this is a difficult set of diseases to cure, as first, not only do scientists own to identify where and which gene is cause the problem, secondly they must find a way to modify that gene within such a way that it does dutiful rather than impair, thirdly they would have to fine-tuning that gene in adjectives the cells that are artificial.
The future: ably in the adjectives it is expected that scientists will detect genetic diseases in the cell of the foetus since it is born, thereby allowing a change surrounded by a fewer number of cell which can be done. Unfortunately not many trials are conducted for such a psychoanalysis to come up simply because, no one want's to risk their child's enthusiasm.
If you want more information on the classification and types of genetic disorders, and the pattern contained by which they are passed down check out the resource section.
Has a human head/body transplant ever be conducted, or is it even possible?
Has a human head/body transplant ever be conducted, or is it even possible?
No, you would be severing the spinal cord in a transplant. In the process you would be depriving the brain of blood so it would not function correctly, if at adjectives. There are multiple other reasons.
idk. I will read this:
http://www.google.ca/search?sourceid=nav...
anything is possible, still to sunshine they don't tell you everything. within difference country's don't say what they did previously.
The way a transplant currently works is that the vessel and tendons are sewn together so the blood goes to the trial piece. You could almost do this with the person in charge, reattaching the carotid and basal arteries, jugular veins, a variety of muscles and tendons. The problem is the nervous system...the spinal cord and and a few other audacity outside the core. You can sew the 2 ends of the cord together but 1) there are millions of "wires" which would hold to someone find their way to the correct partner on the other side of the cleft and even if they could 2) nerves in the cord don't "heal" rear together the way a broken bone does.
Not on the other hand.
But there have been a successful facade transplants.
no i dont think so.single happens on frankinstien t.v lol

Had 40 cc's of fluid removed from my knees, what is this amount within ounces?
it depends on how much the fluid weighs. 40cc is more or less 0.04 liters. if pure water its 40 gram.
30 ml = 1oz
if it is dense as distilled river then its close to 1.352 ounces i think
cc=ml & 30 ml=1oz

Green eyes and behaviour?
Is it real that color of eyes hold a conection with persons`s partGreen eyes and behaviour?
No. Character is a multi-layed complex thing and how one's eye colour [or skin colour come to that] have any bearing on this is beyond me.
No...it have only to do next to the gene pool:)
My late wife have green eyes and was a beaut surrounded by every way.
No its genetic.
The colour of your eyes have nothing to do beside your personality, or guise.
Your eye colour is because of genetics, and which genes be passed onto you from your parents.
The genes for eye colour are quite simple compared to most others. Blue is a recessive gene. Any other colour, green and brown, hazel are adjectives the same gene, and are the Dominant gene.
You enjoy to have two recessive genes (blue) to hold blue eyes.
If you have a Dominant gene and a blue recessive gene, your colour will be expressed as brown, hazel, or green.
Two Dominant genes, method definately brown, hazel, green.
So; r is blue/recessive gene, and D is brown, green, hazel/dominant gene.
r and r = blue eyes
D and D = brown, green, hazel
D and r = brown, green, hazel
The Dominant gene is expressed note surrounded by the D and r.
Recessive gene is expressed only if the Dominant gene is away as in r and r. (blue eyes)
Unless you are an Albino, extremely undercooked, which means you'd own no colour, that is you withdrawal pigmentation and your eyes would appear red. That's because of genes seperate from eye colour though. It's something else entirely.
No that's goofy. Some people might soak up making assumptions or generalizations base on eye or skin color but it has completely NO basis. For instance, green-eyed associates are jealous or catty..NOT TRUE! I've truly heard that though.

Glow within the menacing brain receive neurons fire?
You know how something glow-in-the-dark is just throwing electrons into an excited state? I be wondering how much excitement it takes to find a neuron to fire...
well, i guess the genuine question is, if i shove a sheen stick up my nose and it touchs part of a set of my brain, will it cause some exploit potential in the neurons of late because of the light?
Or put it down my eyes - you get the beliefGlow within the menacing brain receive neurons fire?
No. Light can't activate a neuron unless the neuron have some kind of photoreceptive mechanism--a style to transduce the energy of the photon into electrochemical verve of neuronal action potentials. For example, when a photoreceptor within the eye absorbs a photon, it undergo conformational changes that generate a signal transduction system that ultimately results in hyperpolarization of the cell. As far as I know, nearby aren't any photoreceptors inside the brain.

Give explanation on the effect of body response to the blood pressure.?
Give explanation on the effect of body response to the blood pressure.?
This is a very complex subject and you involve to give us exactly what you're looking for so we can best answer it, but here's a rough and ready overview.
One of the major things that controls blood pressure is blood volume. If you increase the amount of blood, you increase BP. Also, if you are dehyrdated, the blood pressure will run up in broad. Ions, like salt, will increase blood pressure because the "osmotic pressure" is increased due to these ions and the body has to compensate. There are abundant morethings that affect bloodpressure.
The body can be adversely affected by hypertension(too large BP) by having the blood stress the blood vessel walls and can organize to malfunctioning kidneys. Low BP can cause faint, brain damage, and other failure.
If this isn't enough, cut your question and I'll expurgate my answer.
I am not totally clear what you are asking, but the blood pressure is created by the strength of the heart against the clarity of the passage surrounded by the arteries. For e.g. you will get elevated blood pressure under acute stress because the body is seeking more oxygen to touch the acute needs of that moment. Regular illustrious blood pressure is usually because it is occluded (partially blocked from building plaque or debri in the arteries) so the arterial wall is not widen to allow the blood to pass confidently and freely.
Arthur Guyton, the author of the world's leading workbook on physiology, was torturing his assistants when I be in his class (over thirty years ago) to produce an algorithm including adjectives the mechanisms involved within regulating blood pressure. The work continues, with contemporary discoveries all the time. And we're going to make available you an answer in a paragraph on Y/A. Right. Perhaps you could decrease your question a bit.

General Medical Council ..ethical examine?
how serious would it be for a patient to report a doctor to the common medical council.would this be detrimental to the doctor and would he hope to avoid this at all costs?General Medical Council ..ethical examine?
Sounds like the patient is trying to blackmail the doctor. If the doctor feel s/he is correct, s/he should stay their ground.
However, if a patient feel something unethical go on, that's the point of the council. The complaint should be investigated fairly and minus inflammation. Again, if the doctor feels s/he is correct, later s/he wouldn't be worried coming in front of the council.
Birds of a spine.... it would be very complicated to bring charges against a medical Dr. as his cohorts would go to bat for him and engineer you out a liar....unless you really have proof and tangible evidence the Dr.have preformed unforgiving or a malpractice that would for always discharge them, that would stand up in a court of regulation. [very serious indeed!]
General anaesthesia interactions?
Would THC in the bloodstream raison d`¨otre any negative interraction beside general anaesthesia... i'm have an operation tomorrow and i smoked on saturdayGeneral anaesthesia interactions?
I'm a doctor, and an anesthesiologist at that.
There is a chance that at hand may be some synergy between the THC and anesthetics, but probably not. Tell your anesthesiologist. We hate surprises, and we've hear WAY worse than that.
I'd be more concerned about respiratory problems from the smoke. You might try to hack up a lung when you rouse up. We know who the smokers are.
Tell your anesthesiologist about ALL drugs - prescribed, recreational, over-the-counter, herbal - because any of them can interact or influence what we do.
Good luck near the surgery.
You'd best ask your surgeon, and do it now. In bag you haven't noticed, no doctors ever answer question on this site.

Free time during residency within hospital?
I know that residents work with horrible schedule during residency, working about 80 hours a week. But on average, how oodles night shifts do they hold? For some reason, I am picturing going similar to 3 days without sleep and not have time to do anything else. I don't think I would be capable of think too powerfully for the patient's well-being if I didn't get sleep for days at a time.
So...what is an example of an average diary that residents work during a week? Thanks.Free time during residency within hospital?
A few years ago, every third night and possibly all of every other or every third weekend be common. Now, contained by theory, residents are supposed to be fixed to an average of 80 hours a week, though of course it'll be more some weeks. You do become more of a menace after a couple of sleepless night, but depending on the residency, with luck, you can receive in catnap. It's still peculiar, though, that the government regulates the hours of OTR truck drivers, but residents don't hold the restriction.

Any idea what it is?Found a pill small sickly one side have two small lines and the correspondence eth and the other side have 445?
This pill should be CATAPRESS (trade name), Clonidine Hydrochloride (generic name), or simply Clonidine. It's a pill for blood pressure. This one should be a 0.2 MG dose.
The two small markings are in actuality double L's which together with the 445 net the imprint code.
No idea but I know who does. Your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. Just describe the pill to them and they will identify it for you.
Bohemian is correct, here is a pattern site, you can do an advanced search for imprint codes & they own most of them I have even looked for.
