How are the two twins who be conjoined at the director doing?

I was reading Doctor Ben Carsons book, "Gifted Hands" and here were two boys call Ben and Patrick (maybe not real names) and after the operation he said he could not verbalize about what happend because everything after belonged to "Bunte" magazine.
Can anyone let somebody know me what ahppend to them I really want to know.How are the two twins who be conjoined at the director doing?
